So guys, what is the situation in your country regarding the calibration of every temperature recoder installed after 1.1.2006 as defined by EN13486 regulation?

We're just starting it :D

Hi Nova,

I dont know what MTK have on their ticksheets (Reeferjon should know) but most companies as standard on a 1500hr service will put a probe in the back on the air return and check the calibration.

Dont know how G & A :) and Schmitz  send their units out but we used to have to check the calibration on 3 things. Stat, Box gauge and recorder.

All we used to do was run the unit to 0 and write temps on the back of the ticksheet and obviously make adjustments as necc. If there is new legislation coming in then the must be more paperwork involved just to give someone in Brussells something to do

Took a peek at the BS site today...EN13486 is still dated 2002 EN12830 is still 1999.

Have you got a link to your data that calls for a change in 2006.

Thanks.
John.
