Hey all ;)
I'm dealing with a foster double door freezer which the customer had converted to a fridge just after he purchased it (by converted the controller was replaced and not the compressor)!
anyways the compressor has gone down and he desperately needs it fixed. The current compressor is LBP with a displacement of 26cc on R404A. I don't want to fit another LBP compressor to this as it's being used as a fridge +2 degrees and in time this will kill the compressor. If I fit a HBP R404A compressor to this would I need to match the displacement of the original or could it be smaller? Most HBP compressors I've seen on the same size cabinets are around 17cc!
would appreciate your input on this and know that it's not ideal but customer really needs this running! Thanks in advance ;)

Original is a Lunite CAJ2446Z R404A LBP 26cc. It's a capillary system

I believe this one will do the trick.

You will have to replace the cap tube or make it shorter .

The equivalent HBP model for CAJ 2446Z LBP model will be CAJ9510ZMHR (1HP)
