showing error code E464 IPM over current. could outside fan motor cause this

Most Likley the comp goosed or the ACTPM module got gonskies.
Have you tried unplugging the fan motor and starting the unit up to see if fault occurs again.
Also when unplugged did you take the fan blade off and give the shaft a spin to see if it was seized up?
