Hi, hope someone can help before I shell out the £520 call out fee for Rittal to visit & diagnose...

I have a CNC machine that has a Rittal SK 3304.100 mounted on the elec cabinet door, the fans blowing but the air coming out is warm, can someone advise what this could be and how I can get it fixed without a massive call out fee?

Thanks in advance, Jon

Are there any alarms showing on the controller?

Unit doesn't appear too complicated according to the manual, might be worth while trying a local air conditioning or refrigeration company.

Copy manual here if needed. http://bit.ly/2vBmUpr

I have dealt with them in the past. Their common problem is the compressor. They usually use a small rotary compressor 230 volt. Have it checked first as the shell is under discharge pressure and it gets up to 120 C which heat the winding to a very high temp.
