There was a post last week about airwell units, my company are starting to install them everywhere (instead of carrier) im wondering is this a bad mistake which us the service side will be paying for in later months?

Well its not the best, if you just scrap the electronics and replace it with mecanical. It will work- But i would rather install carrier.

Airwell/Elektra/Johnson/White-Westinghouse...
Remotes: Can't recover manual but functions from memory:
one (pair) controls F/C setting of temp. units.
one (pair) controls Heat pump / cool only
one ...

After each change take out batteries to reset and note results. (To forum;))

The electronics are Chinese and latest models have been further "simplified" to bare minimals in stuff I've got my hands on recently.
The Chinese web of the university/company that designs them only turns up database errors when you try to access it... must be the rain
