Oil level without sight glass

Got a set of Copeland tandem compressors with an oil equalizing line between but no oil sight glass on the compressors ..how can you determine the oil level with no sight glass?

Use an infrared thermometer and measure the compressor temperature from bottom to top

Maybe you need equaliser kit with sight glass in it.
Assume this is type of your compressor, as there are larger reciprocating compressors.
