Hey, just wanting to find out what type of digital vacuum gauge people are using and or recommend. I am currently using a CPS one now but don't know if I can trust its accuracy. What do people use and recommend?

I generally carry two around and use them both, I have CPS one plus a Javac VG-64 , i check them both on the vacuum pump and then on a point far away from where you are actually pulling a vacuum.

I did use a CPS but I didn't like it because the last 2 digits always wandered making it look like there was a leak, then I started using a Supco. Much more steady reading and doesn't wander too much when waiting for the slow rise after the desired level is reached.

More recently I dug out an analogue gauge which I sometimes use with the Supco to give me a second opinion if the reading sometimes rises and then drops way below the desired level and creeps back up. I find the analogue gauge is more accurate for measuring vacuums and it doesn't need batteries.

I used to use the old fashioned torr gauge,I just did not trust electronic stuff but hey electronics don't like damp etc?
