Having read through many post I thought I had solved the problem with the fridge part not cooling

Circulating fan off evaperator themistor fault wrong!

If I pull the themistor I get the fault code E7 thermistor O/C then replacing the thermistor still E7 code and the circulating fan runs ok

The circulating fan is switching on and off with the door switch.
The fridge thermistor looks ok as the circulating fan cut in and out.

any other pointers before I try replacing the pcb?

hi
to be honest i think most people on this site are commercial engineers not domestic, although they know all the fundamentals. for more indepth technical info on a domestic i would suggest you log on to ukwhitegoods.co.uk they have more specialised domestic guys

Have you tried fitting a new thermistor (for the freezer evap)?

If you unplug and then plug it back in again while it's switched on the fan will start to run, even though it is faulty.

Get a new thermistor switch off the unit and fit it properly (tightly fastened to the cooling coil). Now switch it on and wait.

The coil should start freezing and when it gets cold enough the fan will start to run.

Chillin:) :)

E7 is definitely an open circuit to and through the yellow thermistor from the PCB.
If you still get the error after replacing the Yellow thermistor, check where the block tags are connected to the PCB.... I have seen tags just resting on the board unsoldered... amazing they work for years before giving an error.

Hi try checking the ras-block on the P.C.B were the thermistor plugs in they sometimes crack the tracks its best to check with a meter.
