Hi
when you have air in system
your discharge temperature and pressure is high
so your lubrication in compressor is become poor and also you have more pressure and you spend more power and your efficiency comes down .

Thank you MBC my plant discharge pressure is 235 PSI in 30 PSI suction pressure condensing temperature is 34 ' c that is normal ?

At condensing temperature of 34C your condensing pressure should be around 180 psig. How did you measure condensing temperature?

Could be a few things need checking

- air in system
- water sprays blocked, poor water distribution, dirty strainers.
- water pump not performing
- build up of scale or calcium on comdenser tubes
- fans not working correctly. direction, air bypass, missing
- condenser to small or mis-matched
- system overcharged with refrigerant, receiver should never be over 80% full

The pressures you have are possibly close to relief valve setting, what are they set to relieve at & what is compressor high pressure switch set to, it should be below relief valves 10 to 15%.
