MHI brand new unit faulty

Subcontractors have recently installed a new Heavy Industries split unit in Glasgow, they cannot get the system to work.

E60 fault code which is compressor lock

Is there something they may have done wrong in the installation to cause this fault, site is so far away and subby has admitted defeat.

According to the manual it could be power related, control pcb, the compressor liquid locked or the compressor shot.

Have they done the fault finding list to identify the problem?

Maybe the compressor was damaged in transit....
