Serve over cabinets

Has anyone tried retrofitting sliding perspective sliding doors to the client side of old serve over cabinets to help them maintain temperature got a few of them I was thinking of retrofitting?

Never done it my friend!
Then again its not my normal field of operation.

A good idea in theory, except; staff won't close doors, perspex doors get grotty and jam in the sliders, unless there was a strong wind blowing in the back of the cabinet i removed most of them.
