Recently we have commissioned a single screw HSO 4200 je hall compressor-ammonia.The design tonnage is 37tons at -40 deg c L.P. receiver.
the compressor discharge pressure is 15.0 kg/cm2 and suction pressure is 0.5 kg/cm2.the ambient temperature is 37 deg c.
the H.P.receiver pressure & discharge is same.
we are unable to pumpdown the liquid in the H.P.reciver.
can any body suggest why dischARGE PRESSURE IS HIGH? AND WHY PUMP DOWN IS NOT HAPPENING.
