Good afternoon. Already known problem. The check valve was torn off. The valve head fell and damaged the spool and rotor. I polished the valve and its saddle. It is necessary to assemble the compressor. But there is no IOM. I know how to expose the gaps of satellites. But where to look an axial backlash on a rotor - I do not know. I ask for help.

How to expose the gap of the stars is I know. I know what shim set on the rotor. But I do not know where to look the gap on the rotor.

Where to watch the rotor clearance?

14756Gap is between star and casing (area shown centre of your "rotor" photograph) (the smooth flat surface directly beside the main rotor)

Thank you - I know about this break. The rupture of stars is regulated by round gaskets. And I'm interested in the gap, which is regulated by semi-circular gaskets.

This is another compressor. The design is different.
