refco condensate pumps.

hi , happy new year every one.

i am trying to find a uk supplier of refco condensate pumps .
looking for the one called combi.
or your opinions on a trunking mounted pump.
the pump can be out side the room with the sensor in the trunking .
gurgling is not allowed .
which is what we have found with some even with one way flow valves fitted . its for use in a bedroom and a gravity drain is not a option till out side the room.
we have tried most of whats on offer .

also ive forgotten who sold panther pumps as the had a remote sensor .
and need reminding of who the uk supplier is for these .

Charles Austen Mini Blue are pretty much silent. We always get the temp sensor option but I believe they now do a water sensor option too.

I find that it is possible to hear the whirring of the pump, if you tune into the sound of it.
but where there is a lot of back ground noise they are great and trouble free provided, the sensor is cleaned, on service.
if we contact refco in Switzerland, we can get them , but wanted a uk stockist.
per usual need it yesterday.

Gurgling noises...
Is the far end of the hose by any chance lower than the pump, i.e. something along the lines of you are pumping the condensate up to a loft and then outside and the hose drop down to ground level?

The reservoir is 12 inches below the pump and the discharge drops down in to a drain.
when in stalled on site the pump will be in a ceiling void. And pumping to a stub in a soil stack with a hypo trap to stop any smells .
and a one way flow on the out flow of the reservoir.
I feel I am about to find that I am to be told that I've been fitting this incorrectly for years .
Always up for a education, that is how I learn , from a better person .

Nah,
Not fitting incorrectly but if the outlet/discharge is physically below the reservoir there is a chance that the discharge hose will act as a siphon, thus sucking the water out of the reservoir after the pump itself actually stopped and this is normally the cause of gurgling noises.

Thanks for that, will try pumping it into a bucket above reservoir.
also there seems to be a lot of pulsing in the plastic hose unless well clipped.

Maybe no one imports them?

You could try Javac as they are exclusive distributors of Refco Products. I have no connection with them, just found their advert.

Ever thought of using "Aspen" pumps. I've found they have a good range of pumps for different applications.

We had one in a box in the office last week.
Nice and compact.
will have wait till someone or myself fit it to test it.
this week is not a pump week for me,and no time to rig it up to test.
