Got a customer who is looking to replace two existing multi deck fridges with one bigger one, they are used for bottles and cans of beer. The existing two are connected to one Hubbard condensing unit which we would likely keep if the duty matches up.

What makes would you recommend? Where is a good place to get them from?

Thanks! :D

Depends on budget, Arneg are good, Linde/Carrier or Hauser i think are best but pricey. If budget is tight Ahmethar? (turkish crowd) are what i mostly see here in convienience stores.

Would you consider a glass door cold room?

Not sure where you would purchase in Uk though, if you find any decent outlets let me know!!

Thanks Al!

The customer has already mentioned Arneg, I'll have a look at Linde/Carrier and Hauser too. I did wonder about a cold room but the customer said he didn't want anything with doors.

Arneg is the high ligue.
As Al said [Al is always right!] Turkish stuff is medium class.
The whole thing about them is the quality of condensing unit and installation.

You have to explain your customers that high quality means longer time without problems and replacing parts.
Not everyone is rich enough to buy the best and cheapest stuff but it's your job to open that door for them...

Hauser and Linde both over sized evaporators, better shelf temps and lower running costs, doors on a beer display can cut as much as 40% off running costs, most off licences here are cold rooms with glass doors, double as storage for those bank holiday weekends when slabs(of beer) are in demand.
