I'm really stocked I'm not very used to inverter motors. Please is it possible to start the inverter fan using direct AC or DC VOLTAGE ? I want to ascertain the condition of the fan motor. please.

Can't find your model reference but assuming that the motors are similar download the 'M' series manual from here....

Goto page 170 to read the motor checks.

I did the fan voltage test and I got 4.8v and 15.9v between pin 1 and 4, and pin 3 and 4 respectively which seem that the fan is ok. there 2 outdoor units synchronised. one of the fan in the second unit is bad. please how can I switch mode for one of the units to start? VRV IV INVERTER TYPE OUTDOOR UNIT.

Do not supply AC power to DC motor, it will damage the coil.
There is some tool to check the inverter board's fault or motor's fault itself.

please what is the proper direction of air in the outdoor evaporator? is it upward away from the unit or downward into the unit. because my unit is still showing error code E7-18 while the outdoor fan turns anticlockwise (dragging air downward into the unit).

please what is the possible solution
