Hello everyone

I have a Danfoss PM3-20 which controls the oil going to the oil cooler via a CVT servo. Danfoss are forcing us into replacing the PM3 for a ICV/ICS which is ok as it is now quite easy. Now Dean and Wood are saying the CVT for 20-60 degree range are obsolete. Is this so? What are the alternatives?

Any help appreciated.

Piewie,
There are a few options that can be used.

Danfoss or similar ORV valve

or ICM with ICAD to dial in exactly what you want

I tried to find something from Hansen, but maybe they don't make equivalent to CVT, as they can interchange pilots.

Thanks Ranger I suppose if I looked properly at the newer comps on site I would have spotted it. At first I thought this would be too much work! Then I looked and actually it is a better solution. Then I tried getting a price from Danfoss UK agent and that's when I struck out:(
