Hi guys,
So I have a samsung split A/C with a communication fault.
The bottom 2 lights ( one with a clock and one with a plug) on the indoor machine flash together, indicating this fault.
Model: Outdoor- AQV24UWAX Indoor- AQV24UWAN
The indoor unit turns on and the fan runs, but faults out after about 30sec to a minute.
I have replaced the whole outdoor unit PCB assembly as there was a fried gecko on the PCB and it looked like it was on the communication part of the board. After replacing this the fault still existed. There was no voltage on F1 or F2 terminals at any stage.
There is fault lights on the outdoor PCB and they did not light up at any stage either.
I tested the interconnects to be fine.
Has anyone had similar issues as this? I'm thinking the indoor PCB may be faulty as well.
I am going to double check with my wholsaler that they did send the right PCB. A couple small components are in different spots in the board and it has a different "DB" number than the old one but it may just be superseded.
Cheers
