Hi,
I'm working on a Temerzone BD1250R (125kw).
Stages - 4
Refrigerant 4 x 7.26kg R407C
Compressor run amps - 4 x 14.9

Currently each stage has 2 x 084S driers in parallel. I would like to know if I can change these out with one larger drier (they are in an awkward position to change). I also service other Package units that have no driers straight out of the factory! So I am after some good information on how to size a liquid line drier.
Cheers guys.

As an addition to the post above I see that the Actrol catalogue lists their drier by Liquid flow capacity:kw. Does anyone know if this correlates to system capacity. If not what is liquid flow capacity.
Some examples out of their catalogue:
BFK084S 1/2" Solder Liquid flow cap (kw) 134a=23.6, R22=23.6, R404a/R507=23.2
BFK165 5/8" male flare Liquid flow cap (kw) 134a=30.6, R22=30.6, R404a/R507=29.9
BFK305 5/8" male flare Liquid flow cap (kw) 134a=36, R22=36, R404a/R507=35.4
BFK307S 7/8" Solder Liquid flow cap (kw) 134a=58.7, R22=58.7, R404a/R507=57.7

Yes , the liquid capacity relates your system capacity with respect to 1 psig pressure drop at rated condition . you can match your system capacity at the rating condition and choose the filter drier accordingly.

As chemi suggested you can use the replaceable core type filter drier . You can also use the product selection software of Danfoss for their drier selection http://refrigerationandairconditioning.danfoss.com/support-center/apps-and-software/coolselector/
