first hi to everyone

can someone give me some advice

I've got my hands on a brand new daikin system with the following indoor and outdoor unit

FTXS25J2V1B + RKS25J2V1B 2011 model year (just been in storage all this time)

It's going in a small workshop/garage, I want to ditch the IR remote control and instead use a wired remote controller

Does anyone know what model interface board (which plugs into the indoor aircon PCB) and remote controller I need to buy

many thanks

you have to mount this either next to the unit or in a ceiling void- you cant fit it inside the space for pipework- unless you cut a hole in the plasterboard to squeeze it in

thanks for the quick reply
looking at the PDF doc, it lists as suitable for the model FTX-J , FTXS-K and FTXS-G

no mention of FTXS-J

is the "J" just to signify a later model version or something?

checked service manual and its got the s21 plug on the indoor pcb- so your laughing- the letter after the number(capacity) is the version
