Why does the thread counter not reset after leaving the site and why does the unread posts count under the welcome message often return the message 'URL not found'?
I also notice that the date and time of my last visit is usually wrong.

the thread counter does not reset because members complained that they were multi tasking and when they surfed back to the forum they could not find the new posts, therefore the cookie setting has been extended.

the URL not found happens when the site becomes very busy, just hit back on your browser and click the link again.

the date and time to your last visit is taken from your computer.

But I visited the site yesterday to 'catch up' and my user cp still shows my last visit as 05-05-06. Why?
