Anybody with experience on what device I might use to safely duplicate a BacNet mstp data stream from FC bus wire to connect OPC server while not disturbing the datastream to the NAE ?

I can tell you Backnet / Metasys is an emerging market over here in the UK.
Especially compared to the U.S.A.
Support is thin on the ground, whereas there a huge number of agencies / dealers using it in your country.
You might do better posting on a American website?
You might strike lucky?
