The Honeywell folks at the AHR Expo were touting R-448A aka Solstice N40. Low GWP, more efficient, better capacity...according to the manufacturer and patent holder.
We've converted two racks and a number of smaller systems from R22 to R407A. Now R404A is on its way out, and eventually we may need to convert those systems. Does anyone have more knowledge of R448A? Is it a better retrofit option for low and/or medium temp rerigeration than 407A?
