Going through some old pictures and found this.

Ship that usually use our company had an overhauled compressor installed, we were over our head in work, someone got a crash course in aligning using dials.

compressor had been running for two hours and I had just gotten in the door when I got the call :)

Those couplings can take a beating, but this was too much, luckily we had an old one I could steal the pins and rubber of off :)
*************EDIT*************

Was thinking I'd keep the load of the RE server, here are the uploads:

Looks like hard work! But i expect most stuff is on the size of equipment you work on Tycho!

A ruler or straight edge would probably be good enough in days gone by.
What type of compressor is it driving?
We never had much luck with that type of coupling on reciprocating compressor & have to move motor to do a shaft seal (really annoying).

Ranger, its on an xrv127, and yes those couplings are not very good to work with :(

Think I finally got the google drive link to work for those of you who requested access :D

Anyone with the link should now have access, so please use the link instead of the attached pictures, because those got messed up as well, more pictures in the link :)
