Anyone any experience with a piping design software?
Would anybody suggest any good software package?

Is it for refrigerant copper pipes or water pipes?
Danven from Danfoss,
Coolpack

I used in the past an old package from Danfoss where you could add bends, sighth glasses, upgoing lines, double risers but since windoiws 98, it isn't working any longer....

Further you have the software from Carrier and Trane, Dupont de Nemours has a very nice (read expensive) one,....

Hi Peter,
the latest software from Danfoss (DIRCALC_1.14) allows you to calculate refrigerant pipes for more the 20 refrigerants (including CO2), and to add filter driers, solenoids and other valves, ... and it's for free (downloadable from every Danfoss site)...

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I was searching something to give a service to my customers who install split system with remote condensers.

I can't seem to find the access to the download section of Danfoss website (as all corporate websites are a mess).
And the registration form ends in a SERVER ERROR message.

I'm searching for a software for a service to customers who don't do that themselves.
Of course we are already calculating the required pipe size on our products, but that has nothing to do with a HVAC DX plant

Hello,

I do not understand this :( (maybe no need  ) this is DIRCalc and not a calculator :)

In my opinion problems start here, everyone is a HVACR designer (the best one  ) but later on coming back with basic questions :) asking for help.

NHF, please ;)

Best regards,

Josip

I never told anyone I'm the best engineer of the world. And never heard any croatian engineer is the best of the world.
Dircalc is dircalc and not a calculator. Ok, so what?
Let's come back on topic: I need to provide a service to our customers, and I cannot do it on paper, I need to do it in some automatic way, with a technical eye-catching presentation.
Josip, if you would like to help me, thank you very much. If you don't, see you next time.

About this was my question  , of course, I agree with you to give the customer full support using any available method, software or whatever, always :) even if, sometimes, they do not pay for ;)

I would like to see other comments about, it is possible that I am not right....

Please, tell us why I put so many links to:

De versie die overal zou moeten beschikbaar zijn is de 1.14. Als ik jouw link volg, krijg ik ook de 1.14 .

Here is the link with details in italian:

Raghunandan,
Can you provide us your company website please?
It can't be found on your private profile.

I'm happy what you do in your country with the extra incomes you gain from your company.
