Dear all,
Hi,

I'm really want to know that how we can get compressor capacity on desire temperature
For example here is Sabroe compressor sab 202 LM it's swept volume 1916 on 3550 RPM.
Suction Temperature set point -38 degree Celsius DT -10 degree Celsius and motor 450 KW.
please share your knowledge.
Thanks
Rashad

I presume the temperatures mentioned are saturated. Using refrigerant properties you can check specific volume of the refrigerant at -38 deg C saturated Vapor condition. Divide the swept volume by this specific volume to get mass flow rate.

You have to spell out the liquid temperature before the expansion valve on the evaporator. Depending upon the system used this temperature will vary. The difference between the enthalpy at saturated suction conditions and that at the liquid feed temperature will give you refrigeration effect per unit mass.

Product of mass flow at suction and refrigeration effect will give you refrigeration capacity.

You have to take care of units used for each parameter.
