Hi guys
i was installing a fdc140vn , then i check the wire sequence , it means i drop the filter access on the indoor cassett; as you know E 21 error code protect stop came on to the disply, any idea how to erase it plz.

mitsubishi heavy industries cassette , i opened the filter access to check, did not drop it ,

Fault clears when you close unit again and press the power button on control.

I usually install the jumper supplied onto the board as this can become a nuisance to some... Plus the switches can fail over time. The jumper is usually taped to the underside of the indoor unit pcb casing flap.

Yep it is a signal to say the grill is open.
Close the grill and make sure it activates the switch and
reset the alarm.

Thank you guys , as you say to iliminate the door switch is a better option, in my case the fan was very noisy so i wanted to check it out .

best option is to cut the wires at the switch, strip em back and twist em together and and fit a choccy block, an tape em, its low voltage so u can do it powered up, reason being as others have mentioned is the switch can fail or the cover may not depress the switch fully depending on which way the filter hinges down, and now the units dont come with the jumper plug

No jumper supplied... Skanky sods!! Choc blocks away then!!
