Hello Peter_1,

why not ask manufacturer for equal compressors but second hand...

Maybe that is not possible for small compressors, it is usual for big open compressors..just idea ;)

What about to repair old compressors? Sometimes quite expensive, but at bottom line you know what you did :)

Best regards,

Josip

Thanks guys.
Josip, they only can be bought via overhaul but it was not that much cheaper.
We did it in the past but problem is then ...warranty if something goes wrong.
And if the crankshaft is bended or pistons broke in 100 pieces in the sump, then it has damaged also other parts.
So I don't touch these anymore.
Problem is at this client -poultry slaughter +/-55.000 pieces/day - has installed an NH3/glycol system and as soon an old '*****' compressors brakes, they don't repair it anymore but they install a cooiling coil on glycol.

Problem seems now that the already placed coils are undersized and with the first warm weather, they can't hold any longer the temperature in the cold rooms.
They urgently need now back the shut-down *****coolers (some already moret hen a year) but it may cost no money.
