Gents,

Just looking for some advice really on the thread title.

I've really got an itch to scratch with regards to going into chillers, the company I work for employ subbies to deal with this. I really want to get into chillers as it's another area that I will have some knowledge of. Working on the few chillers we have is a no go due to the consequences should things go wrong, as we have no techs that know anything about them to back me up,

How hard will it be to make the transition over to this field from the supermarket HVAC side, bearing in mind I usually work on the usual Daikin and Mitsubishi offerings, Weatherite AHU DX/Gas fired, ideal boilers and Grundfos pump sets and the usual array of CWS boost sets and pressurisation units?? It seems like all I'll be doing is chilling the water circuit rather than heating it ??? Please stop me if I'm wrong??

Anyone have any thoughts on where to go as a start point or any areas or companies that might be good for a new entrant??

Cheers!

Craig.
