McQuay ALS SE 312.2 XN Tech Manual

Good morning all,

Has anyone got or know of how to get the manuals for a McQuay ALS SE 312.3 XN Chiller. I have spoken to Daikin and got nowhere as they do not just give out the information.

Hi Jamescomps. Yes I've got a few issues with this chiller unfortunately. There is only one circuit that runs when switched on but only for a couple of minutes. Then shuts down again but no faults come up. The cooling staging is only getting to 8% when this happens. There's also high pressure alarm, evaporator pump alarm, condenser pump maintenance alarm (chiller is air cooled), compressor
maintenance alarm and 32k clock board fault, I've reset the time and date but that didn't help and it has also decided to go to the year 2041 on its own now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi the pump alarms are a software problem, you need to reset the run hours, but even with the alarm on the system will run fine, the hp alarm, check the pressures with guage and if need calibration, calibrate it and also check the fan inverter is working or not, at 9 bar fans come on and then they speed up fully around 14 bar, your hp switch should be around 19 bar,,and compressors maintenance hours are reset through the controller, any problems let us know and I will help you go through the controller
