Does anyone has experience with horizontall medium or low tempertaure evaporator coils?

What kind of problems can be expected with horizontal evaporators?

What can be the maximum possible inclination for low temp Evaps?

I have a site with horizontal gravity coolers running with a -7°C brine temperature.

They cool a fish market and two +3°C cold rooms.

Are fans involved or just horizontal gravity cooler?

in every system for evaporators (dry-wet and semi wet-or vertical and horizontal ) we have to :

in dry system avoid liquid comes back to compressor and oil can do it .
in wet and semi wet oil can return to system or we can remove it in easy way .
also direction of air (or the thing we want to cool it ) and moving of gas should be opposite(give us more efficiency)
in design ( mainly in horizontal evaporator) might you put small pipe in bottom of evaporator with solenoid valve to return oil or might you can return the oil during defrosting as well as we do in semi wet evaporator .

there is a lot of option for design but all of them should have and look for two thing efficiency of evaporator and removing of oil might goes to that.
