This is a vid of my oxy mapp torch set, i have been using it for nearly a year now and it is the best set up i have used.

I have changed 6hp scrolls with it and had no problem unsweating the suction line etc.

The only issue if it is even an issue is lighting the mapp (which is now actually propylene) as it will only burn within certain ratios of fuel to oxygen unlike acetylene, so you have light the mapp, add some oxygen then more mapp etc until the flame is as you want.

They are available from calor gas depots, my local one keeps the refills in stock, though i keep a spare oxygen just in case.

Just thought some may find it interesting, as i know some sites will not allow acetylene on site. The other benefit for infrequent users is there is no bottle rental.

Hi MS.
Quite the budding film producer you are becoming.
A very interesting and informative video all the same!
Thanks for the "Heads Up!"
Just found this link as an alternative to the Calor gas option mentioned in the Video.

Thanks Grizzly!

I was going to get it from B&H, there is a branch in newbury about 20 minutes away, but then i found my local Calor gas place does Sievert stuff and they had a special offer on when i ordered mine :-)

Crack a TINY bit of Oxy with the mapp when you are first firing up the torch and it makes it easier to light.
