ice machine uneven ice on evap.

Hi, im working on a QD0212A manitowoc and having trouble with it taking too long to produce ice. It is icing up Unevenly. More ice bottom 3rd. Ive weighed in a new charge and still doing the same thing. It doesnt have a dump valve. I had a look at the txv doesnt look adjustable. Im geting 5k superheat anyway. Im Getting 50psi suction 404a gas and 280 psi high side. its about 35c ambient.

One thing to look at and is easy check is to see if the water dump valve is leaking through. Also, if the incoming water temperature is too hot, the top couple of rows will make ice poorly...
