Hotpoint ECOFL 181P Noisey

Hi Guys,
I just bought a Hotpoint Fridge Freezer it works well but is really noisey at times with cracking & popping sounds, I understand this is quite a common problem but does anyone know how to cure it ?

It's the refrigerant boiling off in the evaporator.
Apart from putting it in a separate room or garage it's a no. it's the way of refrigerant and systems currently used in domestics, on the plus side it is allegedly better for the environment.

Hmm, That's what I thought, don't know how they get away selling something so noisey

fill it full of beer as it will hold temp better, so run less often:p
