Well lads I have a carrier ultra. Thats trys to start while the engine is running
What tells he micro the engine is running
There is no flywheel sensor on this unit
There is no power the white wire on the fuel solonide

Can any help me with this
Not much hair left

Start relay? Oil pressure switch?

make sure the wire to the starter which sends a signal to the starter solonoid aint rubbing the main battery lead had um rubbing before when engine running they rub and starter bounces in great for the flyweel teeth

no power on white wire,? is the unit switched to autostart or continuous

been a while since i worked on one of these,but the only way its going to know its running is oil pressure or alternator output i guess without digging a diagram out.

white wire on the fuel solenoid is the pull in circuit. Comes from the small wire off the bottom of the starter.
Unit knows it's running by the alternator output (orange wire, d+ circuit)
I would check for rubbed wiring as mentioned. The chances of the unit trying to restart when it's already running is unlikely.

so the white wire is only powered up when the starter motor is activated, the engine fires and then the red wire holds the stop solenoid in. Black is the earth. This shouldn't have anything to do with the starter activating when already running.
