I have a ER2940B Electrolux fridge freezer which needs a new thermostat k61-L2505 its spdt found a ranco vtd9 thermostat which work similar anyone have any experience with the thermostat and its compatability. ..thanks

just get the correct thermostat so much less hassle and less likely of it failing

Looked at the diagram its looks the same but no sure about the cut off temp.....your point of buying a new correct thermostat is the fact its very old and probbly needs replacing in a year or so.
