Hi,

Currently we are using Johnson control (C450CPN-3C) to regulate the motorized 3 way valve (chilled water flow) It's located in AHU control panel. As per client requirement, temp. controller display should be placed on the control panel door instead of inside the panel. while JC doesn’t have panel mount controller. So we like to change to other brand (like Eliwell, carel.. ).
Please advise which brand & model is best to suit the requirement.
There is one controller (IR33B7HR20) in CAREL brand, but not very sure whether this model is fulfill the above or not. please advise.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

Please make sure that the controller you want to retrofit with can meet your functional requirements. This means that you have enough points for your inputs and outputs. Ensure that your communication requirements are fully catered for ie, what ever product you replace with uses the same communication protocol as your BMS if you have one on site. I personally would select a replacement product which has an open communication protocol and does not depend on the vendor for programming and most other basic functional requirements.

Hi Press

This (http://www.aeiuk.com/open-system-solutions/) is new on the market and getting rave reviews. We are installing the first of, hopefully, many systems.

IR33 is a very nice parametric controller, with many functions.
Pretty sure it fits your application ;)

I've heard about the Neoss, don't know it quite well and its price but if you like Carel and want to stay on the programmable side you may take a look at the latest controller http://www.carel.com/c.pco-sistema/-/journal_content/56_INSTANCE_i4q5KIMLInKK/10191/117804
