I want to build a Cascade cycle ,the upper cycle on gas and R507 and the low cycle on R23, but I can not find compressor for R23 in my country (israel ) power 1/4 hp, Is it possible to use compressor R404 Alternative of R23 , with increase the power of the compressor to 2/3 horse?

Generaly speaking, higher motor power could lead to overheating of compresor if density of refrigerant is low at low evaporating temperature.

thanks for replaying i appreciate it
What I understood from you
That I can inject gas R23 at (Compressor R404a ) ?
the 2 gases need poe oil

Compressor is pump for gases. It does not know or care what refrigerant it is pumping. If you are in compressor operation range regarding temperatures and compression ratios, and using correct oil for that used refrigerant, you should not have any problem for using different refrigerant than what is on nameplate.

Therefore you should use refrigerant with similar heat transfer capacity, since that is what determinate size of motor of compressor for given displacement.

Thanks for the reply, in fact, advised me a lot :)
I will look for a suitable compressor
And I expect I will need ur help again
