View Full Version : QUestion about Danfoss AK2-CC-750, N/C output for lights and fans

The wiring diagram for this controller shows a fuse in the circuit powering lights and fans. My fans and lights both run through a compact relay so the only current the Danfoss will see is control coil current of 9 milliamps. Danfoss was vague on the issue saying;
"If our relays are only being used for control signals to cube relays, etc, then you could make an argument that the fusing is not required."

What do you guys think?

Being using all types of controllers this way for years ,some with fuses ,some without and no problems .I would just make sure the control wiring is above the rating of the fuses
