Daikin REYQ14P8Y1B - VRV III - Address Issues

Hello All,

We have a site with a Daikin REYQ14P8Y1B - VRV III , connected to 11x Floor Mounted Units, BC Box's ( BSVQ16OPV1) and one I touch centralised controller ( controller also controls 1x VAM Unit - VAM1500FA8VE ) - installed in 2008.

Due to refurbishment of the site we have had to remove one of the floor mounted units from the circuit. The unit removed was 1 of 4 units controlled via 1 BC Box.

Having removed the unit and pipework we have now pressure tested and recharged. On trying to run the unit we constantly get a U4 error - Communication Error ( before the unit was removed all worked well)

We have performed a system reset from the condenser but still the U4 error appears.

The centralised controller is still showing the removed unit , could this be the issue??

Any help would be appreciated.

have u done the wiring check function on the outdoor when you repowered it back up?
also delete the removed indoors off the i touch

did you drive the valves open when you pressure tested and vacced?

Hello install monkey ;), yes to the wiring check and yes to vales , would you have any literature on how to remove the unit from the I Touch controller ?

You can also connect a service checker and delete the removed unit and reconfigure the system.

Could you explain me, please, the way how can I remove unit from the system and configure it by using service checker?
