Anyone used any of these super seal or easy seal stuff for leaks?

I'd imagine this as a temporary measure?

Cheers andy

used it once- on a fujitsu 407c unit doin a server room!- didnt work, slowed the leak down but still had to swap the lower 1/2 of the condenser!- tricky for a 1 monkey job

Weld
Braze
Solder
Flare
otherwise replce
I havent seen any permanent method which has worked well to replace the above. If you are tempted to do something else other than the above in order to fix a leak then its a temporary solution. dont trust these leak quick fix things.

I always will obvs repair the leak the rite way, I had a leak recently the receiver had perished, valved it off tested the indoors on their own no leak shown. Then tested the pipe work it was losing less than half a bar in an hour, not a big enough leak to hear it, pipes just disappear in the walls and risers.

I suggested to just renew the system with it being 13years old they're just throwing money at it, I'd be there for ever tryin to find it, just thought if this stuff was any good it would keep them going for a bit.

Do u rate MHI kit? Cheap and cheerful?

wall mounts are a bit dated, the kit with the hard wired control is ok as you can get pipe temps, compressor current, comp freq etc and history of what it was doing prior to faulting also quite a few options for setting static duct pressure, filter reminder alarms,- the kit is only about 15% cheaper than daikin, mitsi elec- had a few issues with drip trays on cassettes cracked and cassette fan motor leg broken, chipped fan impellor- but theyve prob just been dropped inside the box

Is that all 10/15% thought it was really cheap. I might have a foreigner on 8 splits, I prefer M.E myself
