Reset Code

I'm looking for a reset code for a Samsung A/C sh24ta8.
I've replaced the pcb and getting flashing leds.

Are you sure about that model code?
sh24ta8 doesn't come up on the system.

If sh24ta8 is correct, what model outdoor unit is it connected to?

Im in Australia. The unit itself is about 10years old

Isn't there just a reser button which you can just press? check if you dont have faulty sensors or transducers.coz it very unlikely that you require to reset anything after replacing a pc board. how many flashes are you getting?

I can't get hold of that service manual.
Your best bet is to talk to the people that supplied the board, they should be able to help you. Alternatively, give Samsung Australia a call on 1300 362 603 (tel:1300362603), they should be able to get hold of the service manual.

@Press, the replacement boards are generic, just like Daikin boards need the ressistor/diod plug or Mitsubishi boards the dipswitches set, Samsung's replacement boards need to be told what unit they are fitted to and this is done by entering a product option code. This should be sent with the boards but are also in the service manuals.
