Hi Guys!
One for the trainers I suspect?
If a piece of kit fails and releases an amount of refrigerant.
At what point is the release notifiable?
Meaning bad practices etc. are reportable, is it necessary to report a loss of refrigerant from a system? If so at what amount does it become necessary.
I have several customers with exceptional questioning attitudes, particularly where environmental issues are concerned.
I was asked is a leak reportable and if so what size?
I did not know, hence the question!
Thanks Grizzly

I don't think you need to notify anyone about a leak, but obviously it needs to go in the log book.

I could well be wrong though!

I'm not at work at the moment so I don't have my documents with me
but I remember reading that you must make provision to repair a leak
within 14 days.

There is no requirement to report said leak other than in the log book
that will be left on site and details like where and why the leak was.

If it is really important I will dig out the docs when I'm back at work
but that won't be until after next week.

Welcome to the site, some useful information Lauren.

I have come across your work on Fridge Hub before and I
often link to articles if they have a relevance to this site.

Why don't you introduce yourself to everyone, you are well
placed to offer advice and information that will answer peoples
questions.

Regagrds

Hi Rob.
Nice to hear from you, I really respect those who are asking the question!
So if in the near future you could add anything more then that would be a big help and very much appreciated.
Steve.

Thanks Lauren.
I visited you site and yes its packed full of information.

Similar to the DEFRA and IOR sites, only your seemed to want to track my location?

I did not see any answers regarding my particular question Sadly.
Thanks Grizzly
