View Full Version : Refrigerant Pipework Dripping

Hi All,

I had AC installed around a month ago and the temps coming out are perfect, the problem that I have noticed is that the pipe work looks to have quite a bit of condensation building up which is dripping and corroding the other pipe/spring around it.

Please find attached pics to show what I'm talking about.

Is this something I should get looked at or is there something I should be able to do myself?

Thanks
Jake

Call back the installer to properly vapour seal the pipework.

that will be a bitch to seal properly- basically ping the unit off its wall plate and try and layer up with armaflex tape to a minimum thickness of 9mm, easier to pump it down, remove off the wall completely and reseal then refit pressure test, vac and release the gas back into the system
