Lennox Rooftop packaged unit BWH045SNM Error code 118

Hi Guys,
I have a 118 error code on this unit, have checked the service manual which state the fault corresponds to the "water condenser protection, risk of frosting" . I have flushed through the water cooled condenser, cleaned both water strainers and have good water flow but the fault still occurs after 3/4 minutes of compressor operation. I have 9/10bar BP & 22/24 bar HP refrigerant 410A. Has anyone come across this before ? What were your findings ? I am putting it down to a faulty sensor but have contacted Lennox who are only open 12-2pm ! What use is that ! haha

u need a ds50 to reset the alarm

Hi Install monkey,
I have reset the alarm many times on the DS50 but the fault re activates after 3/4 minutes of compressor operation. No frost stat is connected to this control system

can you swap the sensor with another sensor on the unit to see if the fault changes?? on the ds50 you can see what the sensors are reading, maybe the limits need widening to prevent nuisance alarms
