Hi All

Hoping someone can help with some technical info on domestic heat pump tumble dryers.

Trying to help out a young guy that I know with an assignment, anything would be appreciated (service manuals, parts books, exploded views) brand is not important, logo's or brand names will not be used.

Not much on the net, and Wikipedia is frowned on as a resource.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers
Drew

The hunt continues, Most brands have them now Bosch Miele LG Electrolux Beko, I have some pics of the internals of one, not enough to base an assignment on though.

I'm tempted to tell him to pick something else

indeed I am either going to make one or get one, they sound very aatractive as they use way less energy.

Never heard of them Mike...until Install Monkey boasted about his purchase on another web site.:)
Utube has several video's, mainly promotional clips.
I have a chance to drive down to the coast next Tuesday and tango with my nearby city traffic chaos ...and hopefully find a car park at one of the major retail stores.

Around$2600 Australian each, you would have to get serious browny points for buying one!

Ranger1. OUCH!...The recent 13% electricity price increase + the 23% increase in Queensland's power last year is forcing me to find other ways to reduce my bill.
Forking out $ 2600 on a drier is not cost effective. My conventional clothes drier is used for maybe 1 or 2 Months during a 12 month period.

Well, time to get them solar panels up Mike. What's the current cost of electricity where you are/kwh?

BTW, i'm off FB. They want too much contact info and all my passwords are mucked up anyway. Not giving bloody Goggle or FB my contact list.

Mike H, it used to be 26 Cents/ Kwh..OZ currency for 24/7 power on general supply.
I might have read that prior to the 2013 increase.

Hot water is connected to another (Cheaper) Tariff...and that means a guaranteed 18 hours per day but is controlled by Queensland power companies. Usually supply is cut to this tariff at 5 PM, and again at 7 AM.

I have solar hot water and that gets me through most of of the year.:)

By the way....your resignation from FB will mean i'll have to delete my Canadian pics.11610

I may go back on FB at some time. Currently going through withdrawal symptoms such as drinking more beer, going out more, actually doing something around the house. Horrible disease, FB withdrawal.

For now you and the boys will have to accost me here, haha
