I believe Sanyo has made a heatpump using r744 as refrigerant in a transcritical process. I believe you can find information on it at www.ahlsell.dk. Well I just checked it out. You can't find any technical information on the heatpump. But should you want some information you're welcome to post me privately. I will send you some files about it. Or simply contact your local Sanyo dealer.
