Hi, I have got a new job working for a large company in the uk. My background has been temp ac and chillers. I was changing a compressor in a Daikin vrv and noticed there are 4 service ports. I used the thick pipe as my low and the thin a my high "think that might go to the reciever"
What I am wanting to know is which are the corrected to use and why are there 4? I noticed when I was charging through the reciever the suction line completely froze up, why is that? If I wanted to charge through the suction side what would be a safe amount to throttle and it in? The system takes 25kg of r410a.
Any help on this or anything else I should know on Daikin vrvs would be a big help. Thank you

its a 3 pipe heat recovery system, the 4th line is your common oil line- must have another condenser joined to it- ps ur meant to go in setting mode 2 to manually drive open all valves.

i suggest drive all valves open, degas ur r410a/nitrogen mix , vac and regas with virgin 410
was the 25kg charge facory or total system charge?
