Anyone can explain difference between Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) & Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV). Which is Best.

Vrv is a term used dy Daikin, Vrf is another term used by another Makers also you can find Mrv in Haier or MDV on Midea.

Basically they both mean the same i think Daikin came up with the technology first and swiped the name VRV so everyone else now use VRF
So its a matter of which manufacture you prefer as both will do exactly same thing

mdv is a subsidiary brand of midea's.

midea produce vrf product under both midea and mdv brand names (as well as just about every other producer's brand name in the world)..

VRV is a DAIKIN (http://comfortconnections.com/call_in.php) patented term for a technology it developed over 32 years ago (1982).VRV is the trademark of DAIKIN industries. There are others today with similar technology and they use the term VRF. They are all followers of the DAIKIN leading edge research, development and technology.
