We have installed a Daiken VRV system for 10 rooms comprising of FXAQ32PVE fan coils running from one FTXS50LVMA condenser. Each Room has a BRC1C62 Wall controller.

I have been told that I can't limit set-points via our current wall controller, and if I want to do this I will need to upgrade to BRC1E62 wall controllers.

Given the controller already has a variable temperature range (i.e. the upper and lower limits on the controllers e.g. 16 and 32 degrees), is there anyway to modify/adjust this temperature range using the technician's codes to replace it with a range of between 19 and 24 degrees.

Hope you can help, and thankyou for taking the time to read this post.

Regards,

Jon

the temp limits are for an ac unit in say a corridor where the unit will operate within the set parameters- usually with a 6 deg swing- you have 3 levels of locking the controller to disable buttons- maybe level 3, set the schedule and setpoint and lock it

Thanks for the reply, however the controller guide is for the BRC1D62, that's the next model up.

I have BRC1C62 controllers, do you have a guide for this one?

Thanks,

Having read the manual in the link above it doesn't say anything about setting a range or adjusting the upper and lower limits that can be entered with the hand controller.

Does anyone know if it can be done on a BRC1C62 controller?
